Michael Sheen will join Good Omens composer David Arnold on stage during his concert A Circle of Sound in celebration of the Royal Albert Hall 150th anniversary on July 19 at 7:30pm. It will be its first full-capacity event since it was closed due to the pandemic on March 2020. Read more on the concert:
David Arnold (James Bond films, Independence Day, Sherlock) turns his compositional genius to create a musical snapshot of the Hall’s unique history. Let this new ten-movement work, titled A Circle of Sound, take you on a sonic journey through our first 150 years.
Special guests including Melanie C, Michael Sheen, Nicola Adams, Brian Cox, Sanjeev Bhaskar, LionHeart and Helen Pankhurst will join David on stage.
Creative agency People – who produced the show and visuals for the 2019 Special Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies – and film production house White Stone Media will bring to show to life on the big screen.
Local choirs, schools, and other community groups worked with David for over a year to compose this new piece. They will also take to the stage to show the importance of our community after this year of turmoil, supported by our very own Albert’s Orchestra and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

Williams and Member of the Senedd Leanne Wood, to discuss the life, work, and continued relevance of Raymond Williams, as a new centenary edition of his collected writings on Wales are published. Michael Sheen says, “Who Speaks for Wales is a truly landmark publication. It has had a profound effect on me and on countless others. The new afterword to this expanded centenary edition shows how Raymond Williams’ thinking is as important and relevant today as it has ever been.” Williams noted that Welsh history testifies to a “quite extraordinary process of self-generation and regeneration, from what seemed impossible conditions.” This discussion, ranging from 1920s Pandy to wartime Paris, from Extinction Rebellion to Yes Cymru, will be conducted with his words in mind.

DC Comics announced today a lineup of guests to appear during DC Fandome, a virtual event for DC fans to take place for 24 hours on August 22. Michael Sheen is one of the confirmed names, and he is likely set to talk about The Sandman alongside author Neil Gaiman and director Dirk Maggs.

Today Michael Sheen joined the BBC Radio 2 Triathlon Trio (Jo Whiley, Reverend Kate Bottley and Richie Anderson) and rode in Cardiff alongside them in the Dare 2 Tri challenge, in order “to raise money for people living incredibly tough lives here in the UK and around the world.” You can donate to her campaign here. On February 29 Michael Sheen reunited with his Masters of Sex co-star Lizzy Caplan for a Warner Bros. panel held at the Whitby Hotel in New York that signaled the beginning of the Emmy Awards FYC season. The actors spoke about Fox’s Prodigal Son and Hulu’s Castle Rock, shows where they both play serial killers. After they event, they attended a high tea. Check out the photos on out gallery:
Michael has been announced as guest of Wales Comic Con: Telford Takeover, to take place on April 25 and 26 (Saturday and Sunday) at The Internacional Centre, Telford. Tickets can be purchased here. Note that autographs and photo-ops are not included in the entry price and must be purchased separately.

Michael attended the AMC panel at the 2020 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour to promote the three-part drama Quiz, to be premiered in May. He gave via satellite some details about his role as Who Wants To Be a Millionaire host Chris Tarrant. Fleabag star Sian Clifford, who plays Diana Ingram in the miniseries, and writer and executive producer James Graham were at the event.
Michael Sheen and his partner Anna Lundberg attended the world premiere of Dolittle that took place today at the Regency Village Theatre, Los Angeles, USA. Join us for a very special evening with photographer Martin Parr and actor Michael Sheen.
They will be discussing Martin’s work and his long-standing relationship to Wales, which is reflected in his current exhibition, Martin Parr in Wales, on display at National Museum Cardiff until 4th May 2020.
Martin Parr is British documentary photographer and collector. Over the last forty years, he has recorded people, places and cultures in the UK and beyond, exploring themes of leisure, consumption and communication. His humorous and affectionate portrayal of modern life has changed the way we understand society and its many nuances. Parr has been a member of Magnum Photos since 1994 and has exhibited and published internationally. He opened the Martin Parr Foundation in Bristol in 2017, which houses his own extensive archive and supports and preserves the legacy of photographers who made and continue to make important works focused on the British Isles.
Ler maisLast Sunday (December 15th) Michael attended a Prodigal Son panel at SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations in New York City, alongside his co-stars Tom Payne (who plays Malcolm Bright in the show), Bellamy Young (Jessica Whitly), and Lou Diamond Phillips (Gil Arroyo).
