Michael Sheen was one of the guests of a panel discussion alongside some profilic names working in TV drama.

Michael Sheen met fans at MCM Comic Con in London last weekend (October 29-30), where he took photos with them and signed their stuff. On Sunday he also did a panel where he discussed his career, his friendship with David Tennant and more.

Ler maisYesterday (October 7) a panel for Amazon Prime’s Good Omens season 2 took place at New York Comic Con, featuring writer/showrunner Neil Gaiman, director Douglas Mackinnon, executive producer Rob Wilkins and actresses Nina Sosanya, Maggie Service and Quelin Sepulveda.
Michael Sheen, who reprises his role as Aziraphale, couldn’t be there, but he, David Tennant and Jon Hamm recorded a Staged-style video for the audience.

Ler maisThe star-studded line-up now includes the Emmy-nominated Michael Sheen, who will be taking part virtually via a pre-recorded talk, as well as an in-person talk from actor Ray Panthaki, whilst singer-songwriter Tom Odell will be performing. They will be joining the previously announced speakers at the Cambridge Theatre on 30th May.
King of both stage and screen, acting legend Michael Sheen will be taking part virtually by means of a pre-recorded TED Talk, exclusively for TEDxSoho, about levelling the cultural playing field. Known for his roles in Oscar-nominated projects such as The Queen and Frost/Nixon, Sheen has also conquered the small screen, most recently in Amazon Prime’s hit TV series Good Omens.
Michael Sheen performed at the ‘Margins to Mainstream’ event last Sunday (February 27) at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, where he “and a supporting cast perform the work of 11 new writers from under-represented backgrounds on a journey to reveal truths from the margins of society” as part of BBC Cymru Wales’ St David’s Day content.
The 11 writers came from the ‘A Writing Chance’ program. The event was recorded to become a podcast on the Welsh radio, which you can listen here.
Michael Sheen will join Good Omens composer David Arnold on stage during his concert A Circle of Sound in celebration of the Royal Albert Hall 150th anniversary on July 19 at 7:30pm. It will be its first full-capacity event since it was closed due to the pandemic on March 2020. Read more on the concert:
David Arnold (James Bond films, Independence Day, Sherlock) turns his compositional genius to create a musical snapshot of the Hall’s unique history. Let this new ten-movement work, titled A Circle of Sound, take you on a sonic journey through our first 150 years.
Special guests including Melanie C, Michael Sheen, Nicola Adams, Brian Cox, Sanjeev Bhaskar, LionHeart and Helen Pankhurst will join David on stage.
Creative agency People – who produced the show and visuals for the 2019 Special Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies – and film production house White Stone Media will bring to show to life on the big screen.
Local choirs, schools, and other community groups worked with David for over a year to compose this new piece. They will also take to the stage to show the importance of our community after this year of turmoil, supported by our very own Albert’s Orchestra and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

Williams and Member of the Senedd Leanne Wood, to discuss the life, work, and continued relevance of Raymond Williams, as a new centenary edition of his collected writings on Wales are published. Michael Sheen says, “Who Speaks for Wales is a truly landmark publication. It has had a profound effect on me and on countless others. The new afterword to this expanded centenary edition shows how Raymond Williams’ thinking is as important and relevant today as it has ever been.” Williams noted that Welsh history testifies to a “quite extraordinary process of self-generation and regeneration, from what seemed impossible conditions.” This discussion, ranging from 1920s Pandy to wartime Paris, from Extinction Rebellion to Yes Cymru, will be conducted with his words in mind.
